William Louis Oleszewski

William Louis Oleszewski, loving husband and father, died on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at Hope Hospice in Ft. Myers, Fla.
He was born July 10, 1921, in Jeannette, son of the late Bronislaw and Kamilla Oleszewski.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was a graduate from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Penn State University. He was a career educator, counselor and coach at Punxsutawney, St. Marys, East Huntington and Derry high schools in Pennsylvania before retiring from Derry Area High School in 1986. While at St. Marys High, he coached three undefeated seasons.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Panigal Oleszewski; eight children, Karen (Lou) Tepper, of Indiana, William (Maryanna) Oleszewski, of Knoxville, Tenn., Richard (Elizabeth) Oleszewski, of Bethesda, Md., Susan (Lesa) Oleszewski, of Philadelphia, Thomas (Karen) Oleszewski, of Laurel , Md., Jane (Bryan) Martin, of Columbus, Ohio, Joseph (Pam) Oleszewski, of Lynchburg, Va., and Marcia (Dan) Thompson, of Kensington, Md.; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Blanche Debich, of Greensburg.
He was predeceased by two brothers, John and Alec.
A memorial service and Mass for William Louis Oleszewski will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Martins Catholic Church, 5684 Route 982, New Derry, Pa.
