Wreaths to be placed on veterans' graves Saturday

December 12, 2012

Photo submitted by Fr. Ross Miceli ECC students unloaded this year's wreath shipment on Wednesday afternoon. The wreaths will be placed on the graves of designated veterans following the Wreaths Across America National Remembrance Ceremony on Saturday.

The Wreaths Across America National Remembrance Ceremony honoring all deceased veterans will be held at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery on Saturday at noon, followed by the placement of wreaths on the graves of veterans in both the Catholic and Protestant cemeteries. The wreaths were previously purchased by members of the community through Wreaths Across America and are designated for the graves of specific veterans. Any extra wreaths will be placed on the veterans' monuments at both cemeteries.
