Mary K. McCarren, 65, of 67 Pine Ave., Force, died on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at her home.
She was born Sept. 28, 1948 in Punxsutawney, a daughter of Ann Swanson Manners of St. Marys and the late Alfred "Pete" Manners, who preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 2013.
On June 8, 1968 in St. Boniface Church, she married Francis McCarren Sr., who survives.
Mary was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Bennetts Valley High School. She was Methodist by faith and enjoyed crocheting, bingo and baking. She also enjoyed camping and country music.
In addition to her husband of more than 45 years, Francis McCarren Sr., she is survived by a daughter, Kimberly, Mrs. Mike Ehrensberger of St. Marys; two sons, David McCarren and his wife The-Resa of Falls Creek and Francis McCarren Jr. and his wife Brandie of St. Marys; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Ellen, Mrs. Mark Harry of West Decatur; four brothers, Thomas Manners and his wife Cathie of Tennessee, Anthony Manners and his wife Rose of St. Marys, Michael Manners and his wife Robbin of Georgia and Alfred Manners, Jr. of Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother in infancy, David and by a great-granddaughter, Ariannah Rairdan.
Relatives and friends of Mary K. McCarren are invited to attend a Memorial Service which will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 140 N. St. Marys St., St. Marys, on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tim Hoover, ofﬁciating.
There will be no visitation.
