rie A. "Babe" Feldbauer, 86, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of 225 E. Arch St., St. Marys, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 at Pinecrest Manor after a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 5, 1924 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Louis and Theresa "Daisy" Bauer Geitner. On Sept. 11, 1943, in St. Mary's Church, she married Jerome A. "Romie" Feldbauer, who preceded her in death on May 3, 1989.
She was a lifelong area of the area and attended St. Marys parochial schools. She was a retired employee of Emporium Secondaries.
She is survived by four daughters, Sandra Anderson and her husband Edward "Pete" of St. Marys, Beth Haberberger and her husband Charles of St. Marys, Jean Yale of Brockport, and Joan Buerk and her husband John of Wilcox; a son, Craig Feldbauer and his wife Lori of St. Marys; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle "Mickey" Eozzo; a daughter-in-law, Mary Beth Feldbauer in 1994; a great-granddaughter, Julie Anderson; three sisters, Alice Duffy, Grace Gausman, and Dolores Lorenzini; and by three brothers, Louis Geitner, William "Bump" Geitner and in infancy, Walter Geitner. She was the last member of her immediate family.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marie A. "Babe" Feldbauer will be celebrated in the St. Mary's Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Meinrad Lawson OSB officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.
