Bavarian Fall Fest organizers are seeking qualified local vendors for the upcoming event taking place September 23 to 25 throughout downtown St. Marys.
Now in its second year, organizers are continuing to secure an array of vendors such as crafters, artists, food vendors, nonprofit organizations, home-based businesses, schools and clubs, to set up shop for a festive fall weekend.
"We are trying to keep the event to local vendors," said organizer Dolly Wehler. "We need vendors; we have everything else lined up."
The event is spearheaded by a group of community volunteers in an effort to celebrate the area's German heritage.
"This is a community event, supported by the community," said Paula Weyant, volunteer. "We need the community to be involved for this event to be successful."
With booth space filling up quickly, locations are on a first-come basis. There are separate fees for non-food and food vendors. Booths requiring electricity will incur an additional fee; however, electricity for lights will be provided for each vendor.
Vendors must also bring their own tent and tables. Security will be provided overnight to oversee the booths.
