At a recent Fox Township Supervisors meeting, bids were reviewed for fencing at Fox Township Community Park. The winning bid was submitted by Kessler Fencing in DuBois at a cost of $12,395.51.
The second bid was submitted by C&H Fencing of Worthville for $12,680. The supervisors approved the lowest bid pending approval of the township's park director, Deb Agosti.
Two subdivisions were approved, including those for Robert and Joanne Hyatt, who are subdividing their property located along Toby Road into two parcels. One lot is 5.378 acres and the second lost is 6.831 acres. Both lots contain an existing home served by public water and on-lot sewage.
The second subdivision is for Roger and Lucy Beimel, who submitted a revised plan to subdivide one lot from their property located behind Main Street, to be conveyed to John Beimel for a single-family home. The lot will be 2.127 acres and served by public water and on-lot sewage.
In addition, township bills were approved at a cost of $119,702.11
The supervisors also approved the use of a township loader at the Elk County Fair taking place in Kersey from Aug. 9-13.
Under correspondence, the township has received the following: the landfill inspection report dated June 29 is available for review, along with a blasting notice for Tamburlin Brothers' Pontzer Operation and a copy of the technical review for the E&S Plan for Energy Solutions, LLC gas processing facility.
The next meeting of the Fox Twp. Supervisors is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011.
