Tessa Divelbliss, 2, of Washington, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011 in Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born on March 16, 2009 in Washington, the daughter of Drew Divelbliss of Scenery Hill and Linsey (stepfather Andrew) Taylor of Washington.
Tessa had gone to Bubbles Bears to Books Daycare in Canonsburg.
She liked to play with her baby dolls, help her mom clean house, dancing and playing with her big sister.
She went to church at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Tana Caputo of Washington; her maternal grandparents, E. Scott and Bliss McClain of Canonsburg and Dennis Baker of McKees Rocks; her paternal grandparents, Dave and Jamie Divelbliss of Scenery Hill; maternal great-grandparents, Wayne and Dorothy Wakely of Okeechobee, Fla., Robert and Arlene Miller of Forestville, N.Y., J. Dennis McClain of St. Marys and Katharine Steele of Newport News, Va.; paternal great-grandparents Sandy and John Poroda of Monongahela; great-great-grandmother Jean Paradise of Webster; and step-grandmother Jo Anne Taylor of Washington. Also surviving are her aunts and uncles, David Divelbliss of Houston, Brandon and Alicia Baker of Ripley, N.Y., Erick and Chrissy Baker of Eighty Four, Lynton Baker of Canonsburg, Carrie McClain of Canonsburg and Kenneth Taylor of Washington. Several additional aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Tessa Divelbliss will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15 in St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church at 317 West Pike St., Canonsburg, with the Rev. John Batykefer as celebrant.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday at the Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Ave., Washington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in memory of Tessa Divelbliss.
