“I was quite happy with the way the girls played today against a rough team,” said St. Marys coach Kelly Carr.
“They were passing, they were communicating. They were first to the ball and they were having fun. It was great to see some of the younger players really step up today in the face of quite a few injuries within the team,” she added.
The Lady Dutch return to action this afternoon when they play host to the DuBois Lady Beavers in a match scheduled for a 4 p.m. start.
On Wednesday, Oct. 20, the Lady Dutch will be hosting a “Pink Game” against the Smethport Lady Hubbers at the SMAHS soccer field.
