St. Marys City Police were dispatched to the St. Marys Area High School Wednesday night in response to reports of an attempted abduction of a female student that took place between 7:55 and 8 p.m. Photo by Colin Deppen.

ST. MARYS - According to scanner dialogue between police and Elk County Control, the attempted abduction of a female took place between approximately 7:55 and 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 at St. Marys Area High School.
Police were not able to confirm any information at press time.
