Natasha R. Schmitz, 22, of 205 Walnut Street, St. Marys, died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, June 11, 2013.
She was born October 23, 1990 in St. Marys, a daughter of Michael Schloder of St. Marys and Barbara Schmitz Plants of Emporium.
She graduated from Johnsonburg High School, Class of 2010. She enjoyed crafts, dancing and 4-wheelers. She was known for her ability to walk into a room and capture your attention, and she was full of life and charm. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her son, Calvyn.
In addition to her father, Michael Schloder and his wife LeeAnn, and her mother, Barbara Schmitz Plants and her fiancé Dave Lyon, she is survived by: a son, Calvyn J. Sample at home; two sisters, Christina Schmitz of St. Marys and Jessica Schloder of St. Marys; four brothers, Christopher Schmitz of St. Marys, Jonathon Schmitz of St. Marys, Daniel Schloder of St. Marys, and John Schloder of St. Marys; her paternal grandmother, Martha Schloder of St. Marys; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Barbara Schmitz; her maternal grandfather, John Bertotti; her paternal grandfather, Herbert Schloder; and the love of her life, Daniel J. Sample.
Funeral Services for Natasha R. Schmitz will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 North Michael Street, St. Marys, on Saturday, June 15 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Brian Okorn, officiating.
Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Friday evening from 5-8 p.m.
