Brian D. Krellner, 55, of 572 Center St., St. Marys, died on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 at Elk Regional Health Center surrounded by his family.
He was born December 19, 1957 in St. Marys, a son of the late Joseph, who died in 1986, and Margaret Cooney Krellner, who preceded him in death on January 27, 2013.
On June 26, 1982, in Sacred Heart Church, he married Christine Hathorn Krellner, who survives.
Brian was dedicated to his work and enjoyed the more than 31 years he spent at Keystone Carbon Company. He enjoyed books, boats, airplanes, playing guitar and motorcycles.
In addition to his wife Christine, he is survived by three sons: Steven Krellner, at home, Andrew Kreller, at home and Scott Krellner, at home; a brother, Justin Krellner and his wife Becky, Coudersport; five sisters, Sandra Metzler of St. Marys, Evelyn, Mrs. Bud Krug of St. Marys, Patricia, Mrs. Carl Pfeufer of St. Marys, Susanne, Mrs. Bill Astley of Plattsmouth, Neb., Paula, Mrs. Dan Micale of Toby; a sister-in-law, Annice Krellner of Emporium; a brother-in-law, Wally Wilson, of Toby; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ted Krellner, a sister, Kathy Wilson, and a brother-in-law, Frank Metzler.
There will be no visitation.
Relatives and friends of Brian D. Krellner are invited to attend a memorial service which will be held at the First United Methodist Church Pavilion (site of the new church) on South Michael Road in St. Marys, on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tim Hoover, pastor, ofﬁciating.
In lieu of ﬂowers or memorials, the family has requested that you spend time with a loved one, read a book, ride a bike or enjoy a boat ride.
