Gerg gets first win as Crusaders shut out Falcons

 Despite the best efforts of the Crusader football team, there was one objective they were unable to accomplish on Friday night: successfully dumping a bucket of ice on head coach Tony Gerg in celebration of his first coaching victory. Everything else seemed to go the team's way though as they romped to a 32-0 shutout over the Coudersport Falcons in a contest played under the lights at C.A.R.P. Park in Coudersport.

Dutchmen open season with 19-14 victory over Bradford

The St. Marys Area Flying Dutchmen opened their 2014 season Friday night with a 19-14 victory over the Bradford Owls in a non-league game played at Parkway Field in Bradford.

DuBois Area tennis downs Lady Dutch 6-3

The St. Marys Area Lady Dutch tennis team suffered a 6-3 lost to the DuBois Area Lady Beavers Thursday afternoon at the SMAHS tennis courts.
The Lady Dutch, now 2-2 on the season, return to action next Tuesday when they travel to Brockway for a 3:30 p.m. match.

Crusader golfers defeat Dutchmen 201-235 Wednesday

The Elk County Catholic Crusader golf team raised their dual meet record to 2-1 on the season as they defeated the St. Marys Area Flying Dutchmen by a 201-235 score Wednesday at the Leaning Pines Public Golf Course.
