City of St. Marys Manager Tim Pearson recently announced his resignation following his five years of service to the city in the position.
Pearson made his official announcement via a video message on the city’s Facebook page. On Monday, he stated he officially informed St. Marys City Council during an executive session of his plans to resign effective Dec. 31, 2020.
This month marked five years as City Manager for Pearson.
“I don’t know if you’ve heard the news or heard the rumblings, but they’re true,” Pearson said. “It has been a phenomenal opportunity to sit in this chair over the last five years and work with some amazing people both from the staff and in the community to help move the ball forward.”
