Voters from throughout the Commonwealth chose representatives from their respective political parties to put on the ballot as part of November’s general election.
Tuesday’s municipal primary election saw a total of 6,560 ballots cast in Elk County. Of those 3,859 were on the Republican ticket, 2,494 were on the Democratic ticket, 207 were Non-Partisan and three were blank ballots.
In Elk County voter turnout was 32.5%. All results are unofficial pending the counting of mail-in and absentee ballots.
Judicial races, school board seats, council and supervisor roles and Elk County District Attorney position were among those listed on the ballot.
