ST. MARYS - Over the past few years Tom Price has been asked to be the Memorial Day Parade grand marshal, and while he has turned down many offers, this year he finally agreed to proposal.
The U.S. Navy veteran has been serving local veterans and their families for the past 59 years as a member of the St. Marys Servicemen’s Detail. Price has held the title of Sergeant In Charge of the Detail for the last 15 years. Over the years he has participated in over 1,000 military funerals.
